Back Acne

August 31st, 2009

Dreading the pool in the summer time isn’t normal. But for years, I hated wearing my swim trunks to the pool because it meant people would see my “bacne”. You know, acne on your back? It was terrible. I tried everything I heard of that could possibly fix my problem. I used vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and I even heard that lying in the sun could help lessen the appearance of my acne. Nothing worked the way I wanted it to and I was left wishing I could wear my shirt anytime I was in a swimsuit. Some products I have used have lessened the number of zits on my back, but it’s never been completely gone. Luckily, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve had less back acne, but I still have enough that it bothers me. I no longer care what people think when I go to the pool or beach, but the underlying problem is still there. And I have to admit, sometimes I still try some of the crazy-out there remedies that I read about on the internet. I figure maybe one day I’ll stumble on the right one. So many other human imperfections have been fixed by science that it’s only a matter of time until I can fix my back acne.
