Tazorac Review

A prescription retinoid, Tazorac works as a gel and a crme to get the job done. They claim it can be used for mild to moderate acne, and they have been the first so far to use tazarotene to clear your acne. This is an original ingredient that will only be found in a few prescription products and never in an over the counter product.

Tazorac Side By Side Comparison

The Good

This retinoid is a proven ingredient meant to clear your acne and give you greater results as a whole. This has potential to thicken the epidermis and cause dead skin cells to shed away at a higher rate for greater healing as well.

The Bad

Unfortunately, this remains a prescription only ingredient because in part it causes so many side effects. Frankly, it causes many of the side effects of benzoyl peroxide but in greater severity and with more side effects in general added to it in many cases. This does not help you, and it only hurts your skin in general terms.

The Skinny

We would not recommend using Tazorac. It works for some, but it takes weeks at a time and causes various side effects along the way. Tazorac is not up to par with other products available now, though we are sure it was up to par in the past. It just doesn't measure up and doesn't give you the results you are actually looking for.
